Work hard, play hard, study hard.

Work, work, work, work work.
Its all I seem to do these days.
Whether I'm working in the shop, working in the hospital, in college or at home studying, I just never seem to stop.

One thing that's keeping me motivated at the moment is a wonderful little hashtag. #studygram
Type it into instagram and see what comes up. Bountiful, wounderfully colourful things. Its rather delightful.

And with exams coming up, it has inspired me to keep working and make my notes prettier than ever. The enjoyment of writing and creating something so beautiful fuels me and encourages me to keep working.

For those who aren't aware of who I am and what I do, I am a hardworking midwifery student. I'm coming to the end of my second year in college currently. I am just a few weeks away from my exams and following that I will be on placement in the hospital for two months.

It can be quite an intensive course as although we may not have many hours of lectures during the week, when we are on placement we work thirty hours total, two twelve hour shifts and a six hour shift. I also have a part time job so on placement I can easily work a fifty or sixty hour week.

Thankfully, I like to be kept busy.

Between all this, I'm knitting and crocheting. As I mentioned in previous posts I have taken to crocheting during lectures to help me keep my focus, which does up my productivity it must be said, and I am also my involved in the discourse in lectures.

With all this going on its no wonder that playing cello has fallen to the wayside. I'm hoping that during the summer I will come back to it and resume lessons so that I can get the grade eight qualification. I just don't have the time to make the commitment to an orchestra unfortunately and I do miss it quite dearly.

Over the summer I'm hoping to pick up my tapestry and cross stitch again. And perhaps even do a spot of jewellery making. I've been inspired by yet more instagram posts and I'm itching to give it a go.

But for now, with my driving test and my college exams coming up next month I'm going to continue tipping away with my pretty, pretty notes and keep relaxing with some crochet. <3 xx
