Multitasking, Podcast Recommendations and suchlike
I spend a lot of time knitting and crocheting. A lot, a lot of time knitting and crocheting.
Sometimes you need quiet sometimes you don't.
As a result I gobble up podcasts like you wouldn't believe.
I'm a big fan of horror and creepy stuff so here's some of my favs.
1: Welcome To Nightvale: https://soundcloud.com/nightvaleradio
The radio station of an odd little town in the desert. This podcast is rather... unique. I love it. Don't question what you're listening to just dive straight in and in a few episodes you'll be hooked!
Airs every two weeks.
2: Next up is Lore: http://www.lorepodcast.com/
The origins of myths and legends, a look into the human psyche through murders and mysteries.
Airs every two weeks.
Apparently this is also going to get turned into a tv show in the not too distant future, cool huh?
3: Tales from the Black Museum https://archive.org/details/OTRR_Black_Museum_Singles
Plenty of murdery goodness this time. From the annals of Scotland Yard's gallery of death, Orson Welles narrates the tales from the black museum.
Ok this isn't a podcast. But a lot of the episodes are on this website and its really, really good. Its a mixture of narration and voice acting. Unbelievably good. Its a classic. I used to listen to this when I was younger. Love it! <3
4: Limetown http://www.limetownstories.com/
Spooky, brilliant. A town goes missing. Everyone. An entire town. 7 episodes of creepy goodness and the story unravels.
5: Shadowcast https://soundcloud.com/robdyke
Just two friends who love creepy shit talking about said creepy shit. The podcast of two YouTubers, Rob Dyke and Cayleigh Elise.
Its creepy af and I love the first segment of each podcast "this week in weird".
So good!
6: Roosterteeth Podcast http://roosterteeth.com/show/rt-podcast
A YouTube podcast, talk about games, weird shit, funny stuff. Its always good for a laugh.
7: The Black Tapes Podcast http://theblacktapespodcast.com/
It is described as a serialised docudrama about one journalists search for the truth. Its about paranormal activity, disproving or proving it and the quest for answers.
I found this one harder to get into and I haven't finished it yet, but I still enjoy it. There's two seasons so far I do believe.
If anyone has any true crime or creepy podcasts I should listen to, HIT ME UP!
In the meantime, Enjoy! xx
