Its been a busy week

And by busy I mean I haven't done much but my mind was very busy. I'm planning so much!

Recently I finished the Aisling blanket.


Pretty isn't it? The yarn looks like candyfloss, its delicious. Its James C. Brett Marble Baby DK. I've got to say its lovely to work with. The edging is some white pom-pom yarn I had lying around.

The pattern is PAM from the FRAN CAL by Shelley Husband, you can find it on spincushions.com.
At some point I will make the entire FRAN CAL. It looks gorgeous.

What else have I been doing... Teaching friends to knit and neighbours to crochet.

Oh, I made my first ever hat in the round!!!


Cute huh?! The pattern is the Classic Cuffed Hat by Purl Soho and the yarn is Noro Aya.



I had to learn magic loop for this and everything!
So much fun!

Also my eyeliner in those pics is BEYOND PERFECT!!!

I'm currently working on another hat and I started another blanket. I'm very bold I know..



But I'm using up all my scrap yarn! I'm doing the first round of a granny square and then I'll get some white and do the next row and then join them all together!
I'd say it will either be a baby blanket or a cushion.

Atm I have a bucket full of lickle motifs. I think its just what I need right now, a quick and easy little project.

I've only had one day of lectures this week so I've had a lot of free time. Which I think is driving me a little stir crazy but we'll see.

Anyways, hopefully next week will be a little better. Fingers crossed I'll get my hair cut.
